Personal Background

An agricultural officer at Sabah Botanical Garden where I design, coordinate, and implement programs related to botanical research, plant conservation, and crop management. My professional work spans both public engagement and technical management, including educational programs, species documentation, and the development of sustainable crop initiatives such as coffee in Sabah. Alongside my professional duties, I am now pursuing a master’s degree in science at The Faculty of Tropical Forestry, University Malaysia Sabah supervised by Ts. Dr. Elia Godoong , a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Tropical Forestry, University Malaysia Sabah and co-supervised by Dr. Shamshul Khamis, a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Science & Technology, University Kebangsaan Malaysia. My study focusing on leaf anatomy traits and its relationship to Robusta Coffee yield across different soil types across altitudinal zones in Sabah. My academic research builds on my practical experience, aiming to contribute scientific insights that can improve agricultural productivity, conservation strategies, and environmental sustainability in the region.
